For us, a trip to Israel is a time to walk on the beaches
of Tel Aviv, Herziliya and Netanya: to see friends and family.
Sometimes our trips are Chupa — wedding canopy — pilgrimages:
to see a bride and groom under a talit — a prayer shawl;
a cousin under the chuppah on a Jerusalem rooftop;
or share the marriage of a Russian Emigree —
our daughter’s Bat-Mitzvah twin — and a third generation Sabra.

Most of all, it is a time to feed my soul...
to spend time with Israeli artists who create magnificent Judaica.
It is a time for me to visit with, work with and buy from
Israeli artists and artisans — people whose creativity, imagination
and product are unique, wonderful and cherished
